Persuasion

How does one persuade and speak properly when public speaking against an opponent to convince a judge?

Does fake confidence add? or is it just knowing everything about the topic.

Confidence is really important in public speaking, making eye contact during key points, pronouncing the words clearly. Those things can at times be as crucial as knowing what your talking about. Because you could have all the knowledge in the world and carry yourself very poorly and no one will pay attenition to what you have to say. My opinion from experiance. :D
